Aside from the most basic thing that they do which is to take pictures photographers have various tasks that they need to perform in order to fulfil their duty.
A Day in the Life of a Wedding Photographer
Covering weddings and the events that are connected with it might not be the most glamorous of all types of photography but it is a great way to start in this profession. You can learn to develop your skill and talents while taking pictures of couples and their guests.
A typical day of wedding photographer when he has an event to cover starts very early. He would have to prepare for the shoot and make sure that everything that would be needed is going to be ready. The cameras, tripods, extra batteries and other equipment should be ready a day before the event and should be checked before leaving the venue.
The photographer should also study the program of the event and now how long each part is supposed to take and what kind of pictures to take. He should also know the way to the venue. This is to prevent the embarrassing fact that one might get lost.
The photographer should also review the kind of shots that would have to be taken, based on what the bride and the groom wants. During the event he should also be on the watch for the special moments that would have to be captured on camera. The duty of the photographer would be to ensure that the memory of the event would stay alive through the pictures that he would be taking.
